Ahead of “The Social Reckoning” taking to the theaters this Friday, Jeremy Strong has spoken about working with director and writer Aaron Sorkin for the film. The legal thriller presents a dramatic take on the 2021 Facebook leak by whistleblower Frances Haugen and the investigative reporter who helped her, Jeff Horwitz.
Sorkin, who previously helmed the writing desk for the first film in the series, “The Social Network,” which was released back in 2010, returns in a full-fledged creator role for the sequel. Jesse Eisenberg played Mark Zuckerberg in the earlier one, alongside Andrew Garfield as co-founder Eduardo Saverin, Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, Armie Hammer as Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, and Max Minghella as Divya Narendra.
