‘Ramayana’ Music Work Charges Ahead in London With Hans Zimmer Leading Namit Malhotra, AR Rahman and Nitesh Tiwari
“Ramayana” is pressing on with its music ahead of the film’s Diwali release. In a new update, the key creators of the project could be seen hard at work at the Air Lyndhurst Studios in London, UK. Seen in one of the two photos is the Chamber Orchestra Of London with a plethora of instruments at play, showcasing the sheer scale of the music being made.
The other image from the studios has gone viral for all the right reasons. With legendary Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer sitting down to plan the music composition that will act as the backdrop for the grandiose film, he can be seen joined by Grammy-winning Indian singer and composer A. R. Rahman, who has been helming the music aspect of the film. Other people spotted in the studio include producer Namit Malhotra as well as director Nitesh Tiwari.
“A rare quiet lunch break between exciting sessions. A brilliant few days recording with the wonderful in the hall,” said the post by the orchestra. They confirmed, “more to follow”.
The orchestra that will be working on the film has previously contributed to the music for projects like “Downtown Abbey,” “The Crown,” “Harry Potter” and the “Spider-Verse” movies. It is not known when the photos were taken or at what stage of music production “Ramayana” was at the time.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana, Ravi Dubey as Lord Lakhshman and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman in the lead roles, the film has a massive ensemble cast. “Ramayana: Part 1” will hit the theaters worldwide November 6 with a second part to follow a year later in Diwali 2027.
