Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Final Edit Locked; Premiere Shows to Begin on June 3

Telugu superstar Ram Charan’s “Peddi” keeps its box-office date, as the makers have officially locked the film’s final edit, marking the beginning of the final countdown for one of the year's most anticipated releases.

National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli, known for bringing sharpness and emotional depth to films such as “Pushpa 2: The Rule”, “Jaat”, “Lucky Bhaskar” and “Thandel”, among others, leads this department. “Uppena” director Buchi Babu Sana helms the film, while A.R. Rahman has composed the music. The cinematography is by R Rathnavelu, with Avinash Kolla being in charge of production design.

Billed as a rural action-packed entertainer, “Peddi” promises a massive cinematic experience packed with emotion, action, and grandeur. Bankrolled by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, and backed by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, the film is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026.

Ram Charan has undergone a remarkable transformation for the film, appearing in striking new avatars teased through the movie’s promotional glimpses. The film also boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.

Blending rustic sports drama elements with large-scale action and emotionally driven storytelling, “Peddi” has been mounted as a grand pan-India spectacle. The team is planning massive premiere shows worldwide starting from June 3, setting the stage for a bumper opening.
