A couple of months after debuting a teaser for “The Great Grand Superhero - Aliens ka Aagman," the Jackie Shroff-led film has locked a release date and is set to arrive in theatres on May 29, 2026, Variety India has exclusively learned.
Backed by Zee Studios and Amdavad Films, the film steps into a space that feels both fresh, yet familiar and taps into an emotional universe blending imagination, innocence, and a narrative that keeps you intrigued.

Watching Jackie Shroff share screen space with children has always been a delight and the teaser captures that warmth. Of the film’s intent, he remarks, “With ‘The Great Grand Superhero,’ we’re fulfilling every child’s dream. Kids’ dreams should always come first." When asked what makes an ordinary man a superhero, he shares, “If your spirit stays young and your spine stays strong till 90, that itself makes you a superhero.”
Directed by National Award-winner Manish Saini, the film brings together an ensemble cast including Prateik Smita Patil, Bhagyashree Dasani, Sharat Saxena, Mihir Godbole, Durgesh Kumar, Saharsh Shukla, Shivansh Chorge and Kumar Saurabh.
