Despite no major faces or popular music, the film attracted impressive footfall, driven by the popularity of the web show, which has had a successful three-season run. "Mirzapur: The Movie" collected ₹25.15 crore with an average occupancy of 42.7 percent.

For total collections, the Telugu-dubbed version contributed merely ₹0.15 crore, while the original Hindi version did the heavy lifting. With these first-day figures, “Mirzapur: The Movie” has become the fourth-biggest Hindi opener of the year, beating biggies like “Awarapan 2,” “Welcome To The Jungle,” “Bhooth Bangla,” and “Dhamaal 4.”
