Ahsaas Channa Joins Arshad Warsi And Barun Sobti In ‘Asur 3’: ‘The New Season Will Take The Intensity Several Notches Higher’ (EXCLUSIVE)
After impressing audiences with her performances in projects like “Girls Hostel,” “Kota Factory” and “Hostel Daze,” Ahsaas Channa has come on board for the third season of the popular web show “Asur.” The actress has joined the formidable cast and will be seen sharing the screen space with Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Vishesh Bansal, and Shweta Basu Prasad.
Ahsaas has kickstarted shooting for the third season and is expected to be in production till December this year, with the makers eyeing a release on JioHotstar in mid-2027. Expressing her excitement about joining this big show, Channa shares, “I am beyond thrilled to join ‘Asur 3,’ especially after being one of the biggest fans of the show. It feels surreal to have this opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented actors, including Arshad Warsi sir, Barun Sobti and Ridhi Dogra. Amongst everything else, I promise that ‘Asur 3’ will take the thrill and intensity several notches higher,” says Ahsaas Channa.

The first two seasons of Asur were directed by Oni Sen, who is currently enjoying the success of his latest Netflix web show “Operation Safed Sagar.” This upcoming season will be helmed by filmmaker Gaurav Shukla, who has previously served as the writer for the two seasons along with movies and shows like “Angrezi Medium,” “The Girl on the Train” and “Saare Jahan Se Accha.” While he will also be serving as the producer for the upcoming season, Gaurav will co-direct with the popular ad filmmaker Shwetabh Varma.
Talking about Ahsaas Channa, she was last seen in Netflix’s “Greater Kalesh,” which also featured Supriya Shukla, Poojan Chhabra, Happy Ranajit, Aditya Pandey and Keshav Mehta, among others.
