Amid the Ajay Devgn-starrer “Drishyam: The Conclusion” storm, “Hanuman Ansh” continued its steady run at the box office. The spiritual film raked in ₹2.25 crore yesterday and currently stands at ₹319.63 crore in the domestic market. As it is enjoying stability at the ticket windows, the movie is now eyeing to cross the lifetime business of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh’s “Border 2” (₹329.43 crore) to become the second-biggest Hindi grosser of 2026 after Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar: The Revenge.”
On its 57th day, the film registered an extraordinary average occupancy of 54 per cent, despite a reduction in screens and shows across the country. The strong trend and national acceptance have already made this modest-budgeted project the most profitable film of all time in the history of Indian cinema.
Starring Shobhinaw Satyaa, Chandan Anand, Purnima Tiwwari, Vihaan Shedge, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel, Neha Paranjpe and Anil Rastogi in key roles, the film is the first installment of the trilogy based on the book “Divine Detour: That Changed My Life.” It chronicles the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba, which begins with a grieving boy searching for God in the hope of meeting his departed mother, before devoting himself to serving humanity through spirituality, devotion and love.
