‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ Surpasses ‘Sarvam Maya’ To Become Nivin Pauly’s Highest Worldwide Grosser
Nivin Pauly’s Onam release “Bethlehem Kudumba Unit” has emerged as a massive money-spinner at the global box office. The film dominated Prithviraj Sukumaran’s “Khalifa,” which arrived simultaneously to cash in on the festive release and remained the first choice for cinegoers. In fact, it remained super strong despite the arrival of Yash’s “Toxic” in its home state of Kerala.
In 10 days, the rom-com made on a reported at ₹23 crore grossed ₹194.65 crore globally, with ₹82.45 crore (net) coming from the domestic market. While the film has surpassed the lifetime business of “Sarvam Maya” (₹151.25 crore), it is also set to cross the ₹200 crore mark today. It has also become Pauly’s biggest grosser, surpassing the supernatural romantic comedy co-starring Riya Shibu, which had collected ₹76.84 crore during its theatrical run.

The film is currently the third-highest Malayalam grosser of the year after Mohanlal’s “Drishyam 3” (₹239.83 crore) and Savin SA-directorial “Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros” (₹235.26 crore). While “Bethlehem Kudumba Unit” is enjoying a phenomenal run, it would need to cross to see whether it will cross the 250 crore mark to become the highest grosser of the year, as the film will face new competition on the coming Friday with Dulquer Salmaan and Kayadu Lohar-starrer “I’m Game.”
