Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s ‘Udta Teer’ to release on October 9

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming movie “Udta Teer” is gearing up for a release. As per recent developments, the movie is slated to release in cinemas on October 9, 2026. Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment are reuniting for the movie. They had previously collaborated for "Kill," "Gyaarah Gyaarah," and "The Lunchbox."

As per the official synopsis, the movie “brings together humour, chaos and an entertaining family-friendly narrative, marking Ayushmann’s return to the space of comedy-led entertainers.”

The film is written and directed by Akash A Kaushik, who is making his directorial debut. It is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain.

Both Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan were last seen in "Pati Patni Aur Woh Do." He is also starring in Sooraj Barjatya’s “Yeh Prem Mol Liya,” alongside Sharvari. Sara Ali Khan was in “Metro In Dino” with Aditya Roy Kapur, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and more.

The October release will mark another comedy outing for Ayushmann Khurrana, while Sara Ali Khan continues her run of theatrical releases. With the film bringing together the two actors, “Udta Teer” will be their second collaboration on the big screen.
