‘Avengers: Doomsday’: Russo Brothers Tease Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk Involvement, Say ‘Characters and Actors’ Remain Unannounced
“Avengers: Doomsday” is releasing on December 18, and one of the main questions doing rounds on social media is the involvement of Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. He recently appeared in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
Now the Russo Brothers are teasing that Hulk is also involved in the upcoming Avengers movie. Joe Russo told Empire Online, “I think [what] we could say is, [Banner] is certainly involved in the story that revolves around Doom. We will not confirm nor deny his appearance in Doomsday."

Adding more, Anthony Russo shared, “The farthest we can go is to say, there are characters and actors who have not been announced, who are a part of Doomsday.”
“Avengers: Doomsday” follows the events from “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). An “Avengers: Endgame Encore” has also been released in the theaters with never-seen-before scenes.
The new movie will bring together heroes from multiple universes, with the lineup spanning the Avengers, Wakanda’s heroes from “Black Panther,” the Thunderbolts, now known as the New Avengers, from Earth-616, the Fantastic Four from Earth-828, and the original X-Men.

In another interview with AP, the Russo Brothers also noted that they began filming “Avengers: Doomsday” without concluding it on the script level. “We like to see what the actors bring to the characters, and sometimes you don’t get the actors until a few days or few weeks before you shoot them. And a lot of the time, that’s when the magic happens.” Opening up about the way they work with actors, Anthony and Joe quipped that they are “improvisation-based, rehearsal-based directors.”
