Vicky Kaushal’s First Look From Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ Unveiled
Vicky Kaushal’s first look from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s "Love & War" has been unveiled. The poster, released on September 26, features Kaushal smoking a cigarette while looking directly at the camera. He is seen with a mark on his forehead and a moustache, dressed in a dark shirt and holding a lighter. The makers shared the poster with the caption, “Nazre Milengi, lekin hatengi nahin!”
Kaushal’s reveal comes after the first looks of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were released over the previous two days. Ranbir’s posters were unveiled on September 24, followed by Alia’s first look on September 25. The three actors form the lead cast of Bhansali’s upcoming film.
The makers have not revealed detailed character descriptions along with the posters. "Love & War" is a period romantic drama set against the backdrop of war and marks Bhansali’s first collaboration with Vicky Kaushal. The film also reunites Bhansali with Ranbir Kapoor after "Saawariya" and Alia Bhatt after "Gangubai Kathiawadi".

"Love & War" was announced in January 2024 with a December 25, 2025 release date. The release was later pushed and is now scheduled to arrive in theatres on January 21, 2027. Bhansali is directing and producing the film, with the screenplay and dialogue credited to Bhansali and Ila Arun. The cast also includes Supriya Pathak.
The film’s story and the specific relationships between its three leads have largely been kept under wraps. Earlier reports have linked the characters played by Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal to the Indian Air Force, but those details have not been fully outlined by the makers in the first-look campaign.
With Kaushal’s poster now out, all three principal actors have received their individual first looks ahead of the film’s theatrical release. "Love & War" is currently scheduled to release worldwide on January 21, 2027.
