‘Verity’: Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson’s Thriller Gets Sizable Cuts From CBFC, Intimate Scenes Trimmed By 23 Seconds
Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson's "Verity" has got an 'A' Certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. The movie got its certificate on September 29 ahead of its release in India on October 2. The run-time of the psychological thriller is 118.41 minutes, which is close to two hours. The Central Board of Film Certificate has trimmed the explicit scenes by 23 seconds and deleted visuals of the e-cigarette. The film is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover's 2018 psychological thriller.
In the movie, actresses Anne Hathaway (Verity Crawford) and Dakota Johnson (Lowen Ashleigh) share a steamy kiss, which does not exist in the book.

The movie has a number of intimate scenes between the main protagonists.
