With the first-day figure of ₹101.10 crore, Geetu Monhands’ directional has emerged as the second-biggest opener of the year. It failed to surpass Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar The Revenge,“ which had collected ₹102.55 crore.

Sixth-Biggest Opener Of All Time

With an insane occupancy across the country, it has become the sixth-biggest opener of all time after “Pushpa 2” (₹164.25 crore), RRR” (₹133 crore), “Baahubali 2” (₹121 crore), “KGF 2” (₹116 crore) and “Dhurandhar 2” (₹102.55 crore).

Second-Biggest Opener of Yash and Kannada Cinema

Interestingly, the film is also the second-biggest opener for the lead star Yash and Kannada cinema, as both have achieved their biggest opener with the second chapter of the “KGF” franchise.

Second Original Film To Cross 100 Crore mark on its first day

After “RRR “, it has become the second original film to hit a century on its opening day. The other four films were direct sequels.

Yash Joins SS Rajamouli

Yash has become the second industry celebrity to deliver two ₹100 Crore openers after blockbuster director SS Rajamouli, who achieved this feat with “RRR” and “Baahubali 2.”
