Rishab Shetty Teams Up With ‘Manjummel Boys’ Director Chidambaram for Two Films
Rishab Shetty is set to lead an upcoming Kannada sports drama, bringing him together with Chidambaram, the filmmaker behind the blockbuster “Manjummel Boys.” As per recent developments, the duo will join hands for two projects, with the sports drama being their first. Produced by Shibu Thameens, the film is in pre-production right now. It is expected to go on floors next year.
The details regarding the storyline, cast and crew are currently under wraps and will be announced soon.

Rishab Shetty says he is excited for the project as he continues to expand his slate across diverse genres. His upcoming releases also comprise “Jai Hanuman” as the actor is exploring new storytelling spaces while continuing to stay connected to the rooted and culturally rich narratives that have defined his journey.
His work in the “Kantara” franchise, including his National Award-winning performance is also widely appreciated. Opening up about it recently, Rishab said, “The biggest challenge was to bring this prequel to an audience that had already showered Kantara with immense love. To give a prelude, go deeper into its roots, and tell a story that carries the soul of the land was both a responsibility and a privilege."
