Actress Shreyaa Chaudhry has been signed on as Ayushmann Khurrana’s leading lady in “Mupapa.” This is her first big film project. The film is going to be released in theaters on Feb. 19 2027. Sameer Saxena is the director of the same. Akshaye Widhwani and Posham Pa Pictures are collaborating for the movie.

Audiences know Shreyaa Chaudhry from her web series, “Bandish Bandits” (2020-24) where she plays the role of Tamanna Sharma. She was also seen as Zara Gonsalves in “The Mehta Boys” (2024). Filmmaker Sameer Saxena is also a part of Posham Pa. He has been associated with projects like “Yeh Meri Family,” “Tripling,” “Kaala Paani” and “Maamla Legal Hai.”

“Mupapa” is a genre-bending thriller with a fresh visual narrative. Khurrana’s most memorable outing in the thriller genre has been “Andhadhun,” which was directed by Sriram Raghavan. This is the second film to be bankrolled by Widhwani after the 2025 blockbuster, “Saiyaara,” the debut movie of Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday.

Khurrana’s last movie in theaters was “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do,” which came in cinemas in May 2026. His upcoming film is “Udta Teer,” that will release later this month.
