Bist has previously directed “Pagglait,” “The Trial Season 2,” “Gyaarah Gyaarah” and “Kaun? Who Did It?.” Besides the untitled romantic thriller, he is also helming the sequel to “Pagglait,” which will take the story forward with a fresh perspective, with Sanya Malhotra reprising her lead role.

Meanwhile, Janhvi will next be seen in the romantic revenge drama “Lag Jaa Gale,” co-starring Tiger Shroff and Lakshya. Backed by Dharma Productions, the film is directed by Raj Mehta, known for “Good Newwz,” “Jugjugg Jeeyo” and “Selfiee.” It is scheduled to hit theatres on May 14, 2027.
