Ajay Devgn’s ‘Dhamaal 4’ Moves to July 17, Avoids Clash With Akshay Kumar’s ‘Welcome to the Jungle’
By Sakshi Navare,
While Akshay Kumar-starrer “Welcome to the Jungle” is slated for release on June 26, Ajay Devgn’s “Dhamaal 4” was initially set to arrive on July 4. A gap of just a week between two big-ticket comedy entertainers was not an ideal scenario for the industry, as it would have led to screens and audiences being divided between the two ensemble comedies. However, that concern has now been put to rest, with “Dhamaal 4” shifting to the July 17 weekend, ensuring a three-week uninterrupted run for “Welcome to the Jungle.”
Directed by Indra Kumar, “Dhamaal 4” marks the latest installment in the comedy franchise led by Ajay Devgn. Known for combining chaos-driven humor with family-friendly appeal, the series has remained a consistent crowd-puller over the years. The ensemble cast, led by Devgn, also features Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, Jaaved Jaaferi, Esha Gupta and Sanjeeda Shaikh.
Meanwhile, the cast of “Welcome to the Jungle” is equally massive. Directed by Ahmed Khan and headlined by Akshay Kumar, the movie also stars Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor, among others.
