‘Welcome To Waikiki 2’ Actor Jung Eun-woo Dies At 40; Funeral To Take Place On February 13
Jung Eun-woo is no more. Korean media outlets have reported that he died on February 11, but the cause of death was not made public. The funeral will happen at the New Korea Hospital and his funeral procession will take place on Friday. Jung Eun-woo made his debut in 2006 with the KBS drama, “Reply 3.” A theatre student, he went on to work in many Korean dramas and movies. Some of his notable Korean TV series include “Bride of the Sun”, “Five Fingers”, “Stranger” and “Welcome to Waikiki 2”. His last role was in the Korean movie, “Memory” (2021).

On February 10, he had posted photos of late Hong Kong actor Leslie Cheung and British singer Amy Winehouse on his social account. He left terms like, “missed, envious, regretful” with the same. This social media post has made netizens wonder if Jung Eun-woo was silently troubled by something. His death has come as a shock to his colleagues and public alike.
In his career, Jung Eun-woo starred in a number of SBS dramas like "Five Fingers", "One Well-Bred Daughter" and "Stranger" getting acclaim for his nuanced performances. The wake of the actor is being held now. It seems the burial of the actor wil be held at Byeokje Seunghwawon.
