Triptii Dimri Wants to Wear the Angel Wings that Kylie Jenner Wore Recently on the Ramp (EXCLUSIVE)
Triptii Dimri has her eyes set on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’s iconic wings. Becoming an official "Angel" and receiving a pair of wings is considered a major milestone in a model's career. The actress is manifesting a chance to wear the wings herself next year. For now, she is soaking in the experience, drawing inspiration from her favorite supermodel, Adriana Lima, and embracing a more experimental approach to fashion. In an exclusive conversation with Variety India, Triptii opens up about her latest appearance, her personal style and the fashion choices that make her feel most like herself.
Opening up about walking the ramp at the show, the star says, “I think about it every night. I think every girl has imagined herself in those wings. It’s something that I have been dreaming about. Maybe, I’ll be able to do it next year. I am manifesting it.” Triptii also discusses her look, which featured a cropped, structured jacket with a lace-and-mesh bustier, a silver-embroidered skirt, feather trims and sheer tulle layers. She describes the ensemble as “feminine, bold and very ‘me.’” She shares her thoughts on getting ready and emphasizes on making sure her ensemble elevates her personal style.

“Getting ready for a show like this is an experience in itself. It always starts off with my stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania and I. We decide what would look the best on me. We wanted to find something glamorous and something bold, but also something that feels like me and adds to my personal style. I think we found the perfect outfit. Then we go into the hair and makeup discussions.While getting ready, we also play some music and chat a lot. We also have a lot of coffee and a lot of food. That’s about it,” she reveals.
When asked if she sees any of her film characters enjoying the show as much as the real Triptii, the actress exclaims, “I think it would be Laila from "Laila Majnu" (2018)! She is full of life. She loves life. She loves new experiences. She would be very happy to attend the show. She would be excited about the fashion, clothes and the wings.”

She also believes in evolving, when it comes to trying on different looks. “I have become more experimental with fashion. Earlier, I would not experiment. I would stick to my comfort zone. Now, I am learning to change that. I am consciously making an attempt and enjoying it,” she explains. Interestingly, she is inspired to follow this mantra from her favourite supermodel Adriana Lima. “I am a big fan of hers. She is so iconic. I love the confidence on her. The way she carries herself on the runway and off the runway. She is literally the best,” she says.
