‘The Traitors’ Season 2: Karan Johar Reveals Whether Shah Rukh Khan Is A Fan Of The Reality Show
After the success of season one, "The Traitors" is back with season two in India. Karan Johar is continuing as the host bringing in his trademark style, wit and banter to the show. Three episodes of the new season are available for streaming so far and fans have already found their fave contestants. In his live on Instagram, Karan Johar spoke about how "The Traitors" Season Two was being discussed in superstar Shah Rukh Khan's household. The two have a long association as collaborators on films and Johar is also one of Khan's closest friends.

In Johar's Instagram live, a fan wanted to know if Shah Rukh Khan was also watching the show. The filmmaker was heard saying, "Actually, we were chatting about Traitors when I was at the house recently. He heard a lot about it. I don't think they have seen it yet but I think I'm going to convince him to see it for sure. But I can tell you, his daughter Suhana (Khan) is watching the show for sure." The first episodes of "The Traitors" have packed in a lot of drama. Audiences saw the elimination of magician Karan Singh and Munawar Faruqui. The winner of the first season of "Lock Upp" was touted to be one of the strongest players this season if he survived in the show.
"The Traitors" has contestants like Mallika Sherawat, Rhea Chakraborty, Rida Tharana, Shalini Passi, Krystle D'Souza, Harman Singha, Shweta Tiwari, Shahneel Gill amongst others. The filming of the same has happened in Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace. The show is an Indianized version of the Dutch reality series, "De Verraders" created by Marc Pos and Jasper Hoogendoorn. It is a murder mystery game that is a lot similar to Mafia.
Shah Rukh Khan is busy with his action film, "King" that also stars Suhana Khan. The father-daughter duo is coming together on screen for th first time under the direction of Siddharth Anand, who helmed the 2023 blockbuster, "Pathaan." The reality series streams on Prime Video.
