Tamannaah Bhatia’s ‘Ragini MMS 3’ Stalled, Director Ousted From Film (EXCLUSIVE)
Tamannaah Bhatia's “Ragini MMS 3” has witnessed a setback even before it could go on floors. Variety India has exclusively learned that the film has been indefinitely put on hold following the abrupt departure of its director.
Sahir Raza, who had previously directed web shows like “The Married Woman”, “Illegal-Justice, Out of Order” and “Doctors,” had been brought on board to helm the third instalment of the “Ragini MMS” franchise. However, the director has now been removed from the film due to a scheduling clash stemming from his commitments elsewhere.
Sources say Raza is currently serving as showrunner on a Netflix series. A recent mandate from the streaming platform requires the showrunner’s daily presence on set. This requirement has created a scheduling overlap with “Ragini MMS 3,” forcing the team to part ways with the director.
