Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sharvari to Release in November 2026
Sooraj Barjatya has set his next directorial, “Yeh Prem Mol Liya,” for a theatrical release on November 27, 2026. The film is produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain.
The project marks Barjatya’s return to direction after “Uunchai,” which earned him the National Award for Best Director. With this film, the filmmaker revisits one of his most recognizable narrative anchors, bringing back the ‘Prem’ character to the big screen after more than a decade.

Ayushmann Khurrana will take on the role, marking his first collaboration with Barjatya. The casting signals a shift for the actor into a space traditionally associated with Rajshri’s brand of storytelling. Sharvari stars opposite Khurrana, with the film marking their first on-screen pairing.
The film also reunites Barjatya with composer Himesh Reshammiya, who last collaborated with the director on “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.” Music is expected to play a central role in the film, in line with Barjatya’s previous work where songs have been integral to narrative progression.
“Yeh Prem Mol Liya” is positioned as a family-oriented theatrical release, a segment that has seen fewer entries in recent years compared to action-driven titles. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas in the post-Diwali window.
