‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ Teaser Review: Ayushmann Khurrana Is Back With A Chaotic Trio In This Humorous Franchise Of Extramarital Affairs
The teaser of "Pati Patni Aur Woh Do" is here. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana with Wamiqa Gabbi, Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. It starts off on a very interesting note with a flashback of the older Pati Patni films. The first one is a clip from late Sanjeev Kumar's "Pati Patni Aur Woh," which released in 1978. The film also starred Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur. Then, we see a flashback of the 2019 movie, that had Kartik Aryan as the main lead. This movie is the third one of the series.

What's hot
The idea to use clips from the old movie is a good one. It helps build a good recall value. They have not shown too many dialogues or scenes, which is also a smart thing to do as most comedy teasers tend to reveal the whole story. Ayushmann Khurrana is known for his comic timing and he does not disappoint. The highlight is the scene between Vijay Raaz and him. This film seems to be set in the mould of the 2019 movie, where the main male character was a high-ranked official in some company. It is also set in a non-metro city by the looks of it.
What's not
We have three leading ladies but none of them get to show their comedic timing in the teaser. This is a bit of a letdown. Also, the chemistry between Ayushmann Khurrana and the ladies seem to be off. Not a single pairing catches our eye. Well, it is just a teaser and maybe the makers have more aces up their sleeve.
Overall
The teaser stays true to the essence of the franchise. It has chaos written all over it. Ayushmann Khurrana seems to be in good form but we need to see how the ladies fare in the upcoming assets of the movie.
