Seo Kangjun and Ahn Eun-jin on ‘A Love Other Than Yours’: ‘It’s a Realistic and Honest Story About Love’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Korean actors Seo Kangjun and Ahn Eun-jin open up to Variety India about the "A Love Other Than Yours," describing the upcoming K-Drama as a realistic take on love, commitment and personal growth. They also discuss how the characters navigate mistakes and complicated feelings while trying to protect their relationship.
While not addressing if the series challenges traditional ideas of love and commitment, Seo Kangjun offers, "It’s a story about grounded and honest feelings that people can relate to. And in turn, it also makes it a story about personal growth. This series tells a realistic, honest story about love. It’s something we all experience once in our lifetime. It’s quite truthful. The storyline tells us about how we can grow as humans."

Ahn Eun-jin echoes Kangjun’s thoughts, noting that love and commitment do not always prevent people from making mistakes. "I feel a similar way. The two people (in this series) really love each other and are committed to each other, and can make mistakes. They briefly have feelings for someone else. They might make mistakes, but they still try very hard to safeguard and protect their relationship. So, I hope you guys would look out for how they manage to do that," she shares.

The actor also talks about her character Mi-do’s determination to protect Namgung (Seo Kangjun), recalling a particularly dangerous scene. "Mi-do is willing to do anything for Namgung. There’s a scene where she walks across a multi-lane road to save Namgung. Mi-do was very brave in that scene but I was personally quite scared. It was a dangerous thing to do, so she should never do that again if she wants to live a healthier, longer life," she quips.
