Saniya Iyappan Appreciates Snoop Dogg and Son Cordell C Broadus’ Nod of Approval For ‘Kalyani’ Remix
Saniya Iyappan is the star of the "Kalyani" remix featuring Shreya Ghoshal. The track, originally made by independent artists ARJN (Arjun Sunil), KDS (Kiran Das), FIFTY4 (Vishnu V), and RONN (Ron Vinod) has been grabbing all the attention online thanks to its latest version. It has made a fan out of American rapper Snoop Dogg, as well as his son Cordell Broadus.

The 29-year-old shared a video by the executive producer of the track, Len Prasad, on his Instagram Stories, which was then praised by his father, Snoop Dogg. He further reshared it in a moment of rare Western appreciation for Indian music.
The Balyakalasakhi star has seen the appreciation for her work and reacts to it with a post on her own Instagram feed. Sharing a screenshot, she writes, “Grateful (sobbing, sparkle and heart emojis) #kalyaniremix.”

Previously, Prasad echoed the emotion and says, “GRATEFUL (heart and folded hands emojis) THANKYOU To The LEGEND @snoopdogg (goat emoji) And My Brother Church @cbroadus for this one (hug and heart emojis).”

Directed by Ben, the Malayalam song runs over the lyrics of a man’s admiration for kohl-laced eyes, a dimple-laden smile and an overall praise of her visuals. The music is a mixture of modern R&B, Afrobeat and hip-hop beats and has become a new short-form content favorite. The remix featuring Ghoshal dropped five days ago on July 1, in a Hindi version and has managed to grab over 8.5 million views at the time of writing this.
