Rock Legends Scorpions Call Off Upcoming Tour of India Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
German rock legends Scorpions have called off their upcoming tour of India. The four-city tour was slated to begin from April 21 in Shillong, Meghalaya. Then, they would travel to Delhi NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai. The tour, which was produced and promoted by BookMyShow, has been called due to “unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band members.” This was shared by the ticketing platform on their social media handle.

The statement added, “We apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused to fans. The band are very keen to perform in India when possible and within their schedule.” They also assured fans that they would get a refund within the next 7-10 working days. They had last performed in India in 2007. This visit was supposed to be a part of their Coming Home world tour celebrating their 60th anniversary as a team.
Scorpions are known for their exceptional discography that includes hits like, “Wind of Change,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Still Loving You,” “Send Me an Angel,” “No One Like You,” and “Big City Nights.” The performance was supposed to happen at RBDSA Sports Complex in Shillong. The city is known for its strong music culture, especially in rock and roll.
