Kanye West’s ‘Bully’ Globe comes to Delhi for ‘Ye Live In India’, Creative Director Shares Details (EXCLUSIVE)
With Ye (the artist formerly known as Kanye West) arrives in New Delhi for a one-night only immersive event called “Ye Live In India” on May 23. The organizers (White Fox, Wizcraft and Laqshya Entertainment) announced today that the globe stage seen at Ye’s concert at SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles will make its way to Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in India’s capital city.
What fans can expect
Titled “Ye Live In India”, there is much buzz around the rapper’s first visit to the country and fans are naturally curious about what to expect. We reached out to the event’s creative director, Sara Awwad of Studio Majime who exclusively told Variety India that “fans can expect a highly immersive live experience powered by advanced stage technology being brought in specifically for this show.” Elaborating on the experience offered by the now-viral “Bully” globe, she shares that it transforms the performance into a 360-degree environment, using large-scale projection mapping and visual storytelling to create constantly evolving worlds around the audience. It’s cinematic, fluid, and designed to fully surround you.”

The specifics
The concept and stage design has been credited to Ye and Austin Taylor, who is part of the rapper’s core team and will be arriving in India ahead of the May 23 gig in Delhi along with the lighting design team (See You Later LA and John McGuire of Trask House) and will receive local support from Sara’s team. Offering an insight into the “architecture” behind the stage design, Awwad says, “This technology allows the stage and surrounding surfaces to transform dynamically during the performance, creating immersive visual illusions that evolve in sync with the music. Combined with precision lighting and spatial design, it turns the entire venue into a continuously shifting environment rather than a static stage.”
Best seat in the house
Most events market shows with seat pricing underscoring where the best seats in the house are. When asked which were the best seats at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi to experience “Ye Live In India”, Sara Awwad insists, “There’s no single ‘best seat’ in the traditional sense. The entire experience has been designed in 360°, meaning every section offers a unique perspective. Whether you’re on the floor or in the stands, the show is built to be experienced from all angles, not just viewed from one direction.”
That being said, all roads for Ye fans lead to Delhi, come May 23.
