‘Ramayana’: YouTuber MrBeast Shares BTS Glimpses With Ranbir Kapoor From Mumbai Event

Ahead of “Ramayana: Part 1”, now known as “Ramayana: Rise of a Legend,” releasing worldwide, the makers of the film conducted an event in Mumbai. Popular American YouTuber MrBeast (James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson) made a surprise appearance to chat with the cast and interact with the media.
Now, the influencer has shared moments from the big day when he briefly spoke to the media. In one of the photos, he was seen with Ranbir Kapoor, who is all set to play the titular character. In the carousel post, other celebrities spotted in it include Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, YouTuber CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar) and Payal Dhare (Payal Gaming). Apart from that, he was seen posing with his wife, Thea Booysen, at the Taj Mahal.

At the event, he came across Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Ravie Dubey, who will play Lord Rama, Sita and Lord Lakshman in the film. He was heard thanking them for having him and letting him check out some bits from the project. Urged by the paps, Kapoor helped him to chant “Jai Shree Ram”.
Apart from the actors and the creator, the producer Namit Malhotra and the director Nitesh Tiwari were also seen.Talking about Yash’s portrayal of Ravana, Malhotra said, “Yash could not make it (for the event). He is absolutely a superstar playing the role of Ravana. One of the things that I must state is that, when this film had to be made, I needed someone like him to really have the ability to stand there and become this pillar of support.”
