Producers’ Slate: From Mythri Movie Makers To Sithara Entertainments, Here Are The Upcoming Telugu Films To Look Forward To
With several big-budget films lined up for release late in the year, it looks like Tollywood will end 2026 on a high. Here is the complete slate of films that the top production houses in the Telugu States are currently busy with.
Mythri Movie Makers
Peddi: Ram Charan teams up with director Buchi Babu Sana for this rustic action drama. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and has music by A. R. Rahman.
Ranabaali: Featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, “Ranabaali,” set in the 19th century, is directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The film releases on September 11, 2026.
Irumudi: Ravi Teja switches into a serious mode with “Irumudi.” Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film will hit screens on September 14, 2026.
Fauzi: Featuring Prabhas and Imanvi in lead roles, Fauzi is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The war drama will release in October 2026.
NBK111: Nandamuri Balakrishna is now shooting for his new film with director Gopichand Malineni. The film is expected to be released during Dussehra 2026.
Dragon: This action drama, mounted on a massive scale, is directed by Prashanth Neel with Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead. It is slotted for release in 2027.
Jai Hanuman: Post the success of Hanu-Man, director Prasanth Varma helms the sequel, which stars Teja Sajja and Rishab Shetty in lead roles. The film went on floors in April 2026.

Music: Director Gautam Tinnanuri directs “Music” with newcomers in lead roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the film that will release in the second half of 2026.
MAD Juniors: The first two parts of the MAD franchise were solid hits, and the makers have started shooting for the third part with a new cast. Kalyan Shankar is the director.
Sri Venkateswara Creations
Dethadi: The film stars producer Dil Raju’s nephew, Ashish Reddy, as the lead. Directed by debutant Aditya Rao, “Dethadi” will hit the theaters in the second half of 2026.
Yellamma: After “Balagam,” director Venu Yeldandi is back with his new film “Yellamma.” The film has star composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) as the main lead.
Rowdy Janardhana: Vijay Deverakonda plays the titular role in “Rowdy Janardhana.” Directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, Dil Raju is the producer of the film.
People Media Factory
Goodachari 2: Adivi Sesh plays the main lead in this sequel to “Goodachari (G2).” Emraan Hashmi plays the main villain in the film directed by Vinay Kumar. “G2” will be released toward the end of this year.
A film with Tiger Shroff: People Media Factory has signed Tiger Shroff for a pan-India biggie. The details of the project and the director of the film will be announced soon.
UV Creations
Korean Kanakaraju: Varun Tej teams up with director Merlapaka Gandhi for a comedy caper. Ritika Nayak plays the female lead in this film, which is set to release in the second half of 2026.
Vishwambhara: The fantasy drama is Chiranjeevi’s prestige project and is directed by Vassistha of “Bimbisara” fame. “Vishwambhara” has Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.
Vyjayanthi Movies
Kalki 2: After the success of “Kalki 2898 AD,” director Nag Ashwin has begun shooting for the sequel featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Prabhas. The action drama hits screens in 2027.
Annapurna Studios
King100: Nagarjuna acts in and produces his 100th film, directed by Tamil filmmaker Ra Karthik. The film will be released in the second half of 2026.
Rambha Urvasi Menaka: Allari Naresh’s next is directed by Chandra Mohan, and the comedy caper is expected to release by the end of 2026.
