Prabhas’s ‘Fauzi’ To Release On December 3; Will Ajay Devgn’s ‘Ranger’ Make A Move To Avoid Box Office Clash?

The makers of Prabhas-starrer “Fauzi” have just dropped a gritty, violent poster announcing the release date of this pan-India biggie: December 3, 3036. After the debacle of “The Raja Saab,” the actor returns to his signature action genre with an impressive glimpse, where his bare body is drenched in blood as he holds a gun in one hand.

While the look of the lead star has definitely increased excitement among fans, the film will face competition from Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt-starrer “Ranger,” which will hit the screens on December 4.

The jungle adventure, which went on floors in March 2025, also features Tamannaah Bhatia. The film will see Ajay Devgn as a forest officer who voices against animal poaching, while Sanjay Dutt will play the antagonist. Directed by Jagan Shakti of Akshay Kumar’s “Mission Mangal” fame, it is backed by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

The first Friday of December has turned out to be historic for Indian cinema with “Animal” (2023), “Pushpa 2” (2024) and “Dhurandhar” (2025) emerging as monstrous blockbusters.

With both films catering to similar target audiences, it would be interesting to see if any of them will shift to avoid this box-office battle.

Talking about “Fauzi”, the film also stars Imanvi alongside veteran actors Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander and Jayapradha in pivotal roles.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi of Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur’s “Sita Ramam” fame, “Fauzi’ is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film’s music is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, who has collaborated with the filmmaker for his previous projects.
