The first part of “Ramayana,” titled “Ramayana: Pratham Sankalp,” is set to have a grand Diwali release and it is believed that Lord Hanuman (played by Sunny Deol) will be a very small part of the film. However, the audience is set to witness the god of physical power, strength, and boundless energy in an AI film, titled “Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal.”
The project, which will reimagine the story of the Hindu deity for a global audience, was tentatively scheduled to release on Hanuman Jayanti but has been delayed as the music and edit are still in the works. Variety India has exclusively learned that India’s first AI-generated theatrical feature film will release this year, but after the release of “Ramayana.”
Inspired by the Ramayana and Puranic literature, the film might hit the jackpot, as it will show Lord Hanuman to audiences, whom they missed in Ranbir Kapoor’s film.
