Kichcha Sudeepa Announces ‘Devaraaya’ on Birthday, Reveals First Look of ‘Billa Ranga Baasha’
Kichcha Sudeepa is sharing updates on his upcoming projects on his birthday today. One of the key announcements is his next film, “Devaraaya,” a collaboration between his production house, Supriyanvi Picture Studio, led by Priya Sudeep, and Telugu production powerhouse People Media Factory. The two banners have already unveiled an announcement poster.
The actor is actively working on “Billa Ranga Baasha: First Blood,” his much-awaited reunion with director Anup Bhandari after “Vikrant Rona.” The ambitious futuristic action film, set in the year 2209, is currently one of the actor’s major commitments. The makers shared a look of the film, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project. The team has previously indicated a larger promotional rollout through 2027, with the film eyeing a release in the final quarter of the year.

Sudeepa is also returning to television with “Bigg Boss Kannada” Season 13. The new season premieres on September 6 on Colors Kannada and JioHotstar. Sudeepa has spoken about balancing his television commitments with his film work, and the proximity of the “Billa Ranga Baasha” shoot location to the “Bigg Boss” house has made the schedule considerably easier.
The biggest change this year, however, is how he spends his birthday. Unlike previous years, he has decided not to celebrate the day with fans at his home. In a heartfelt note to his fans, the actor explained that he has “strong and personal reasons” for the decision and asked them not to gather outside his residence.
He also urged fans to celebrate in their respective towns and regions instead of traveling to his home. Signing off on an emotional note, Sudeepa reassured them that their bond would remain unchanged, saying, “We will meet again. Can anyone ever separate you and me?”
With “Billa Ranga Baasha,” “Bigg Boss Kannada” 13 and now a new collaboration between Supriyanvi Picture Studio and People Media Factory all converging around his birthday, September 2 could prove to be one of the busiest dates on Sudeepa’s calendar, even without the traditional fan celebrations at his residence.
