Come September 6, Aamir Khan’s younger brother Faisal Khan will be headed to the ‘Bigg Boss’ house as a celebrity housemate in the reality show’s landmark 20th year. Salman Khan returns to host the popular show.

Faisal Khan debuted in a leading role opposite fellow debutante Anjali Jathar with the 1994 romantic drama “Madhosh,” produced by his father Tahir Hussain and directed by Vikram Bhatt. He returned to the big screen again in 2000 with “Mela,” sharing screen space with brother Aamir and Twinkle Khanna.

Faisal Khan was later seen in films like “Kaaboo” (2002), “Border Hindustan Ka” (2003) and “Chand Bujh Gaya” (2005). He made his directorial debut with the psychological thriller ‘Faactory’ in 2021, in which he also acted. Away from the cameras, Fassal’s life has been marked by deeply difficult personal battles.

“Bigg Boss” host Salman Khan is known to share a great rapport with Faisal Khan’s brother Aamir Khan and his entry into ‘Bigg Boss’ will be keenly watched for the drama that’s bound to ensue. Faisal Khan has consistently been in the news for talking against his family, especially his older brother Aamir. Meanwhile, the family has maintained a dignified silence.

Given his film lineage, his struggle to become an actor and his complicated personal history, he promises to be one of the show’s highlights. Whether he chooses to revisit his family equations, his career setbacks or the personal struggles he has spoken about publicly, his presence on the show is bound to generate big numbers.

Back in 2022, Faisal was approached to be a part of the show’s 16th season, but he turned down the offer. “BB20” will mark his first brush with a reality show.

Film choreographer and director Farah Khan’s brother Sajid Khan is another celebrity sibling who was a big draw in “Bigg Boss 16,” the season Faisal was to be part of.
