Hrithik Roshan’s Son Hrehaan Makes Singing Debut With ‘This Heavenly Place’

Hrehaan Roshan, the elder son of Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan, has made his debut as an independent musician with “This Heavenly Place.” The 20-year-old has taken on multiple roles on the track, serving as its singer-songwriter and guitarist. The song was produced by Sudan, with Ankur Tewari.

Hrehaan’s first release arrives with a deliberately stripped-back presentation. The accompanying music video uses a black-and-white acoustic setup, with Hrehaan singing in English while playing the guitar, keeping the focus on his voice and performance rather than elaborate production.

The debut also marks an interesting continuation of the Roshan family’s musical legacy. Hrehaan’s great-grandfather, Roshan, was a celebrated Hindi film composer, while his grand-uncle Rajesh Roshan has composed music for several prominent Hindi films, including Hrithik’s debut “Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.” Hrehaan, however, appears to be establishing his own path outside film music, beginning instead as an independent singer-songwriter.

Hrithik was among the first family members to publicly celebrate Hrehaan’s debut. Sharing a glimpse of the song, the actor expressed his faith in his son’s instincts.

“You were born with an innate wisdom Ray: I trust it so much. It makes me fearless,” Hrithik wrote. Sussanne also marked the occasion with an emotional message for her son, writing, “So overwhelmed love you beyond anytime.”

The release comes months after Hrehaan turned 20. In March, both Hrithik and Sussanne had shared posts on social media marking the milestone, with Sussanne describing her elder son as her “greatest blessing” and expressing pride in the man he had grown into.

For Hrehaan, “This Heavenly Place” represents the beginning of a musical identity of his own one that draws from the family’s long association with music but is being introduced through his work as an independent artist.
