From Aneet Padda-Ahaan Panday To Mahesh Babu-Priyanka Chopra: Pairs To Watch At The Box Office

The Indian film industry has given us iconic on-screen pairs, from Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha and Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol to Aamir Khan-Juhi Chawla and Kamal Haasan-Sridevi. While these evergreen and contemporary duos have won audiences over with their chemistry, a new crop of fresh and hit pairs is now making waves with their screen presence, prompting the trade to bet on them.

Aneet Padda-Ahaan Panday

The crackling chemistry between Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday was one of the biggest USPs of Mohit Suri’s blockbuster “Saiyaara” last year. The duo is reuniting with the filmmaker for another romantic musical drama, making the project one to watch for trade pundits.

Vijay Deverakonda-Rashmika Mandanna

After “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade,” real-life couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna will share screen space in the period action drama “Ranabaali.” As it marks their first project after marriage and an on-screen reunion after seven years, the Rahul Sankrityan directorial has strong potential to draw footfalls at the ticket windows.

Prabhas-Triptii Dimri

The ‘Rebel Star’ will be seen opposite Triptii Dimri in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action thriller “Spirit.” Apart from the filmmaker’s distinctive storytelling style, the film’s biggest draw is expected to be the intense, raw chemistry between the lead pair.
