Ajay Devgn’s “Drishyam: The Conclusion,” which is set to hit the screens this Friday, has received a stellar response in its advance booking. While the film might prove to be the lead actor’s highest first-day grosser, here’s a look at Devgn’s biggest openers at the box office. Interestingly, three of his top five openers are with director Rohit Shetty.

Singham Again: ₹43.50 crore

The third part of the Singham franchise, which also featured Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff in key roles, was released during the Diwali weekend in 2024. The film clashed with Kartik Aaryan’s “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” (₹35.50 crore) and recorded a bigger first-day collection than the horror-comedy.

Singham Returns: ₹32.10 crore

The second installment of the cop franchise hit the screens during the Independence Day weekend in 2014 and emerged as Ajay Devgn’s biggest opener at the time. The film also featured Kareena Kapoor and Amole Gupte in key roles.

Golmaal Again: ₹30.14 crore

The fourth installment of the franchise, which also featured Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Parineeti Chopra, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Johnny Lever, hit the screens during the Diwali weekend in 2017. It locked horns with Aamir Khan’s “Secret Superstar” at the box office.

'Raid 2': ₹19.25 crore

The 2025 crime thriller enjoyed a good opening as it was released on May 1, which is a holiday in many states, including Maharashtra. Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, the film also featured Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor in prominent roles.

'Total Dhamaal': ₹16.50 crore

With “Total Dhamaal,” Ajay Devgn stepped into the comedy franchise and played a crucial role in its box-office success. The 2019 film also starred Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaffrey, along with Boman Irani, Vijay Patkar and Mahesh Manjrekar.
