‘Dragon’ Makers Rubbish Rumors of Shooting Cancellations Due to NTR Look Issues
By Sakshi Navare,
Prashanth Neel, director of blockbusters like “KGF” and “Salaar,” is now working on “Dragon,” a mega-budget, pan-India film starring Jr NTR.
While "Dragon" is expected to hit the screens this year, rumors doing the rounds on social media suggest that shooting of the NTR-Neel film has been halted to perfect the actor’s multiple looks for the action-entertainer.
However, the production house behind the film, Mythri Movie Makers, has set the record straight and dismissed shoot cancellation rumors as untrue.

“There is absolutely no truth to the rumors circulating about the look or any schedule cancellation. The film is progressing as planned, with only a routine preparation gap. We request everyone not to believe or spread unverified information. Official updates will always come from us. #NTRNeel,” read the post.
"Dragon" went on floors on August 9 last year with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. The makers later shared the release date as June 25, 2026. However, there has been no update since then.
The film also features Anil Kapoor, Rukmini Vasanth and Bimal Oberoi of “Dhurandhar” fame.
The film's music is composed by Ravi Basrur, who has collaborated with Prashanth Neel for all his projects.
On the professional front, Jr. NTR was last seen in his Bollywood debut “War 2” alongside Hrithik Roshan. Despite having big stars and anticipation, the spy-actioner failed at the box office.
