BTS Plans ‘Normal’ Music Video Release Ahead of FIFA World Cup Finale Halftime Show
With 14 songs and one hidden track as part of ARIRANG’s promotions already being revealed so far, many expected that BTS had done away with their surprises and would only continue with a sold-out world tour. It seems that the K-Pop team is nowhere close to having reached its potential with a new campaign launched for the upcoming Korean-language release of their song, “NORMAL”, which will be accompanied by a music video.

The music video and track will be released exclusively on Spotify on July 17 (ET) before becoming available on all streaming platforms on July 19 (ET), as per agency BIGHIT MUSIC. The fifth studio album from the group has achieved massive success in terms of album sales and streaming numbers, presenting a positive path ahead for the video.
The septet is aiming for a unique tabloid-like promotional plan for the release, having plastered a photo of the singers dressed in tailored suits standing in front of toilet stands with the headline "BTS Seen in Bathroom Amid Mysterious Late-Night Gathering,” alongside the following copy: “Questions have been raised following a late-night photo appearing to show all seven BTS members together in what appears to be an unexpected setting. While the gathering itself remains unconfirmed, some have questioned whether the situation was entirely normal…” The same update was shared on the group’s social media accounts, confirming the release plan.

BTS is all set to appear as one of the performers for the first-ever FIFA World Cup Finale Halftime Show as part of the ongoing competition. They will take to the stage alongside Justin Bieber, Madonna and Shakira on July 19 for the final match, all set to take place at the New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA.
