BTS, one of the biggest pop acts in the world is making a comeback with their fifth studio album, "Arirang." They will have a live concert at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21, 2026, which will be broadcast on Netflix globally. ARMYs are looking forward to this screening as it marks their return after their military service. The trailer for the same is getting immense love from everyone. BTS and The Beatles popularity has always been discussed by pop culture experts. They debate if BTS is as popular as them or what would have been the scenario if The Beatles were in the era of social media.

In fact, many ARMYs are also loyal fans of the British boy band. In the ARIRANG, trailer they found one moment, which they connected to The Beatles. There is a clip where we can see BTS members walk in front of the Gyeongbokgung Palace with a Chorong in their hand. It is the lantern, which is a part of their culture lighting up the path ahead of them.

Many fans of the two groups noticed this. Paul McCartney said he admired how BTS had become such a so big in the world of global music. He said their popularity did remind him of 'Beatlemania,' when he reacted to their cover of "Hey Jude." Others drew comparisons with Greek mythology. While BTS songs are in Korean, the group has always taken inspiration from mythology all over the world to create its videos.
