After a disappointing week for Hindi releases such as “Prahaar” and “Nayyi Navelli,” the box office is gearing up for the arrival of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s “Udta Teer” and the coming-of-age romantic comedy “Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar,” which features six newcomers.
The promotional assets of both releases have received average to decent response from audiences. However, they will rely primarily on word of mouth, as the upcoming releases don’t have out-and-out commercial elements. In fact, both cater to multiplex audiences in metro cities.
As per analytics platform Recobee.AI, “Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar” is expected to earn ₹0.80 crore to ₹0.90 crore on its first day, while “Udta Teer” is likely to open at around ₹4 crore in the domestic market. Ultimately, the organic publicity will decide the fate of both films at the box office.
