After ‘Storm’, Hrithik Roshan Teams up With Prime Video India for ‘Mess’, a Comedy Film Directed By Rajesh A. Krishnan (EXCLUSIVE)
Hrithik Roshan and Prime Video India are expanding their creative partnership further. Variety India has exclusively learned that Hrithik is now producing a comedy feature film for the streaming giant, marking their second collaboration following Storm, a high-stakes thriller series that is currently in post-production.
Titled "Mess," the film will be directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan, best known for helming the 2024 blockbuster heist comedy "Crew" starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The latest project tells the story about a motley group of robbers who, upon invading the family house of a man with OCD, slowly realize it's not the family but them who need to survive this night-long standoff. The original screenplay for the film was written by American writer Paul Soter, and the adapted screenplay and dialogues are written by Kapil Sawant. Shooting is expected to commence in the coming months.
Hrithik will produce this project alongside Eshaan Roshan under their banner, HRX Films, in association with Rajesh A. Krishnan's Soda Films Lab. HRX Films is a division of FilmKraft Productions and a third-generation production company in the Roshan family's cinematic lineage, following Hrithik's maternal grandfather J. Om Prakash’s Film Yug and father Rakesh Roshan’s FilmKraft Productions.

As we move to production, I am grateful for all the support from HRX Films and Prime Video and convinced that the film has found the right home."
Founded in 2019, HRX Films was first credited in Hrithik's 2019 acclaimed biographical drama, “Super 30," but the company officially entered into full-scale production last year with Prime Video India's "Storm." Directed by “Tabbar” fame Ajitpal Singh, the show features an ensemble female cast led by Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, and Saba Azad.
Meanwhile, Hrithik is presently deeply immersed in the preparation for his most ambitious superhero film, "Krrish 4." He has also been discussing projects with Hombale Films, though the script and director aren't finalized yet.
