Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ Pushed to June 4 Amid Middle East Tensions
The release of the upcoming action drama “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,” starring Yash, has been pushed back to June 4, 2026, after escalating tensions in the Middle East disrupted cinema operations across the Gulf region.
Producers KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations said the film had originally been scheduled for a global theatrical rollout on March 19. However, following consultations with distribution partner Phars Film, the team opted to reschedule the release due to the impact of regional instability on theaters in the Gulf, a key overseas market for Indian films.
The decision comes as the makers were preparing to ramp up promotions for the film. A large-scale trailer launch was planned for March 8 in Bengaluru, with media from across India expected to attend. The promotional campaign had already been mapped out ahead of the original March release.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas and written by Mohandas and Yash, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.
The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam as part of its global release strategy.
“Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” will now open in theaters worldwide on June 4, 2026.
