‘Vishwanath & Sons’: Suriya Reveals Title And Release Date Of Next, Unveils Poster Cradling A Baby
Suriya fans have reason to celebrate this Monday. The actor has officially announced the title and release date of his upcoming film directed by Venky Atluri, along with a striking new poster. The film is titled “Vishwanath & Sons”.
The poster, shared by Suriya and producers Sithara Entertainments, hails the project as the return of “vintage” Suriya. Sharing it on his X account, Suriya wrote, “Love with a difference, family with a purpose we arrive in July as a wholesome entertainer.”
Sithara Entertainments added, “Power in his presence. Warmth in his embrace. Bringing back the vintage magic of @Suriya_offl in a heart touching family spectacle. #VishwanathAndSons — The biggest family drama of the year arrives this July.”

“Vishwanath & Sons” is directed by Venky Atluri, best known for “Vaathi” and “Lucky Bhaskar”, and produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. The cast includes Mamitha Baiju, Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon alongside Suriya. The film also marks Tandon’s return to Tamil cinema after 24 years, following Aalavandhan, which starred Kamal Haasan. Music for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
In a conversation with Gulte last year, Naga Vamsi said, “The film explores relationships, love and emotions between a 45 year old man and a 20 year old woman. Suriya 46 will be a proper, happy family film, with very strong human emotion.”
