Vijay Deverakonda And Rashmika Mandanna Receive Wedding Wishes From PM Narendra Modi

By Sakshi Navare

As fans continue to track developments in Udaipur, where Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are set to tie the knot, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent his best wishes to the couple and both their families in a heartfelt letter. The Prime Minister thanked the couple for extending the invitation and also applauded their individual professional journeys.

In a message addressed to Vijay Deverakonda’s parents, Madhavi and Goverdhan Rao, the Prime Minister wrote, “It is a pleasure to be invited by you to the wedding of Vijay and Rashmika to be held on 26 February 2026. Heartiest congratulations and greetings to the Deverakonda and Mandanna families on this truly joyous and auspicious occasion.”

He continued, “It marks the beginning of a new, beautiful chapter in the lives of Vijay and Rashmika. With the spirit of sakha saptapada bhava, meaning having taken seven steps together, the couple become friends for life.”

Applauding the professional journeys of both Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, the PM said, “Neither Vijay nor Rashmika is new to scripts in their films. But this divinely scripted chapter of their real lives, filled with love and affection, will surely outshine the magic they have created on the silver screen."

“May the days, months and years to come be filled with shared dreams and their fulfilment. With thoughtfulness and love, may they share responsibilities, embrace each other’s imperfections, learn from each other’s strengths, and journey through life as true partners,” he added.

He concluded his message by extending his blessings: “My blessings and best wishes to the couple and the families on this momentous occasion.”

The wedding festivities began with a sangeet on February 24, and the couple is celebrating their haldi and mehendi ceremonies today. The wedding is scheduled for tomorrow (February 26). They are likely to incorporate two distinct ceremonies at the wedding to honor both cultures.
