TRP Report: ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ Tops Chart, ‘Anupamaa,’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ Close Behind
India’s television ratings chart continues to reflect the dominance of family dramas, with “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2” leading the pack this week with a 2.0 TRP. The sequel to the iconic daily soap, fronted by Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay, has managed to reclaim the top spot, underlining the pull of legacy titles and familiar characters in the current TV landscape.
Close behind are “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” “Anupamaa” and “Vasuda,” all tied at 1.8 TRP, reflecting a tightly packed leaderboard. “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” currently led by Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit, continues its long-running consistency, maintaining steady audience engagement despite evolving storylines.

Meanwhile, “Anupamaa,” headlined by Rupali Ganguly, remains a consistent performer. The show’s focus on interpersonal relationships and emotional arcs continues to resonate with viewers, helping it sustain its position among the top-rated titles week after week.
“Vasuda,” featuring Priya Thakur along with Nausheen Ali Sardar as Chandrika Singh Chauhan, matches the TRP of more established shows, which points to the ability of newer titles to find space within a format dominated by legacy programming.
Rounding off the top five is “Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain,” with a 1.7 TRP. The show, led by Rohit Suchanti and Tanisha Mehta, remains within striking distance of the leading cluster.
