Trade Talk: ‘I’m Expecting Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ To Earn ₹50 crore in India and ₹75 crore Globally’
Pawan Kalyan-starrer “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” which released today on the festival of Ugadi, has taken a bumper opening at the box office. While the craze of Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar 2” is across the country, the Harish Shankar-directed film has dominated the Telugu-speaking states, thus once again showcasing the superstardom of Pawan Kalyan.
Ramesh Bala, the prominent industry tracker from Chennai, tells Variety India, “The box-office occupancy in Telugu states is anywhere from 80 to 100 per cent. Many shows are sold out and filling fast.” Predicting the opening day of the masala entertainer, he adds, “I'm expecting ₹50 crore in India and ₹75 crore globally.”
On the other hand, Vishek Chauhan, Chief Executive Officer at Roopbani Cinema in Bihar, predicts ₹25-₹30 crore for its opening day.

With an extended opening weekend of 4 days, the film is expected to cross the 100 crore mark in the domestic market, becoming the second Telugu film to achieve this feat this year after Prabhas-starrer “The Raja Saab.”
Talking about “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” the film marks the reunion of Harish Shankar and Pawan Kalyan after “Gabbar Singh,” which was an industry hit.
The film also features Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, B. S. Avinash, Gautami and Chammak Chandra in pivotal roles. With Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman S composing the music and score,
