‘This Anti-War Film Will Be With Us Long After the Credits Roll’: Suriya on Karthik Subbaraj and Rana Daggubati’s ‘Neelira’
By Sakshi Navare,
Actor Suriya has appreciated Karthik Subbaraj and Rana Daggubati’s production venture “Neelira,” featuring Naveen Chandra in the lead role.
The “Singam” star praised the relevant themes of “Neelira” after watching the film, and said in a video clip, "The film talks about one long night. We have been witnessing the recent wars that are disrupting our daily lives. Those whose lives are upended the most are the ones who are underprivileged."
"The person who has endured the long night (Neelira) —Somatheeran, who is of Sri Lankan Tamil descent, has directed this. This film will stand as a silent witness to the war that the country faced in the past and what the world is facing today. This anti-war film will be with us long after the credits roll. I really liked it, and I hope you will like it too," he added.
