The Marked HeartHowever, when Variety India reached out to the director of “Ab Hoga Hisaab,” Divyanshu Malhotra, he denied the series being a remake and shared, “It's an original story. The writers have been writing it for a while now. It's not a remake.”

“The Marked Heart” premiered in April 2022 and was created by Venezuelan screenwriter Leonardo Padron and produced by CMO Producciones. It features Michel Brown, Ana Lucia Dominguez, Sebastian Martinez and Margarita Munoz in key roles.

After the success of its first season, it was renewed for season 2, which was released in April 2023.

During his journey, Simon falls in love with Camila, who is allowed to live on thanks to the stolen heart of his murdered wife. But things become complicated after both know the truth.

“The Marked Heart” garnered rave reviews for its intense and gripping narrative, along with impactful performances.

Talking about “Ab Hoga Hisaab,” the show is set in Punjab, expected to be compelling, gripping, with an emotional core and raw intensity.
