‘Seyon’ Teaser: Sivakarthikeyan Channels Lord Virumandi in Kamal Haasan’s Bankrolled Action-Entertainer
On Sivakarthikeyan’s birthday (February 17), the makers of “Seyon” dropped a powerful three-minute-long first glimpse of the film, which perfectly blends massy action with divine aura.
The teaser of the film, which is expected to be a full-blown action-entertainer, begins in a police station where a cop, played by Aruldoss, investigates a fight that took place at Karumathur Virumandi Temple during the second day of the Maasi Kalari Festival. A committee member, along with other festival goers, reports that they are being physically attacked by this anonymous individual in a blaze of laser lights. A prisoner identifies the lead protagonist’s character and says, “He is the one who channels God.”

As soon as Sivakarthikeyan’s character arrives at the station, he is met with a devotional gesture as a woman pours water on his feet. The cop folds his hands and says, “This is Lord Virumandi.”
“Seyon” not only promises to be a compelling watch but also garners curiosity by not revealing anything about the plot. It also stars Sarvanan in a pivotal role.
The movie marks the reunion of Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan as actor and producer after their successful collaboration in “Amaran.” On the other hand, it is also the reunion between Sivakarthikeyan and director Sivakumar Murugesan, whose upcoming film “Thaai Kizhavi” is being bankrolled by the actor.
“Seyon” is backed by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the banners of Raajkamal Films International and Turmeric Media. Talking about the technical crew, the editing department is handled by San Lokesh and the camera is cranked by Vivek Vijayakumar. The music of the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, with Supreme Sundar and RK Nagu serving as stunt director and art director. The movie is set to hit the screens globally in October 2026.
