‘Scream 7’ Worldwide Box Office: The Slasher Flick Set to Beat ‘Scare Out’ To Become Fourth-Highest Grosser of 2026
After setting the record for the highest opening weekend of the franchise, “Scream 7” continues its strong momentum as the slasher film will soon cross the $100 million mark at the domestic box office. It will become the 4th “Scream” movie to achieve this feat.
‘Scream 7’ raked in $1.6 million on its second discounted Tuesday, making it the second-biggest Tuesday discount day in the franchise. It has raked in over $55 million in the international markets.
With the global collections of $151.10 million, as per Box Office Mojo, it is set to overtake the Chinese spy thriller “Scare Out” ($160 million) and emerge as the fourth-highest grosser of the year.

The film is expected to earn between $120 million and $130 million in its theatrical run, making it the highest franchise grosser in the domestic market.
Directed by Kevin Williamson, the plot of the latest part follows a new Ghostface killer who targets Sidney Prescott's daughter. It features Neve Campbell, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard and Courteney Cox reprising their roles with Isabel May, Anna Camp, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Mckenna Grace, Asa Germann, Celeste O'Connor, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos, Tim Simons and Joel McHale as new additions to the cast.
Produced by William Sherak, James Vanderbilt and Paul Neinstein under the banners of Spyglass Media Group and Project X Entertainment, the music of the film is composed by Marco Beltrami.
Talking about “Scare Out,” the Zhang Yimou-directorial features Jackson Yee, Zhu Yilong, and Song Jia, with Lei Jiayin, Yang Mi, Zhang Yi, Liu Shishi and Liu Yaowen in supporting roles.
